When I landed in New Zealand in April 2023, I had one thing on my mind - hiking. It had been a while since I had been out in the mountains and I was longing for that cloud nine feeling. Thankfully, New Zealand offers some of the best hiking in the world. One of the first hikes I did was the Pinnacles Hut hike.

The Pinnacles Hut is one of New Zealand's most popular DoC huts, with a large amount of beds and a spacious communal area. Here are some of the key features that you will find around the hut: 80 bunk beds (split into two bunkrooms). 3 chemical long drops (no stench or major issues with mosquitoes).
